bwdl (Brian Woolnough Dry Lining) Ltd are proud to be one of the leading specialist dry lining contractors with over 25 years’ experience within the industry. We have worked with a variety of clients from main contractors and building companies including art galleries, auction houses, restaurants, gyms, offices, event spaces and much more.
bwdl was established in 1998 by now retired founder, Brian Woolnough and past President of FPDC. Mark Mason MCIOB and Paul Green became joint Partners in 2008 and have since driven bwdl forward with dedication and passion to create an organisation with long standing relationships with clients.

bwdl offers support from the tender stage through to project completion. With utilising our vast years of experience and knowledge within the construction industry of both project management and trades, we can provide our clients with an efficient service to deliver on time and on budget.
Once awarded the work, the logistics and management of labour and fast problem solving are paramount to managing the project efficiently. We ensure we communicate effectively and regularly with our clients, keeping them informed of developments of the work we need to undertake.
Safety and Quality
bwdl has maintained a Contractors Health and Safety (CHAS) accreditation. Having a SSIP recognised accreditation demonstrates how seriously safety is taken at bwdl. We ensure all our workforce have CSCS cards and relevant training. Our material suppliers are chosen for excellent customer service, reliability and good quality plant.

bwdl is a member of FIS, which was born out of the amalgamation of two associations the FPDC and AIS. Before FIS, bwdl was a member of both the FPDC and AIS.

Following that, a site visit is the best way for us to give you the most accurate price as we can advise on any foreseeable issues thus avoiding any unexpected costs.
We don’t quote prices over the phone as every job is unique.
I am a subcontractor and I’m interested in working for you. What do I need to do?
Detailed CV, list of accreditation’s and qualifications, first aid, PASMA, IPAF etc. We operate a 100% CSCS card system, which now requires contractors to have an NVQ. We also ask that you provide your insurance details.
We only approve contractors who have supplied all of the above.
